I added the BunsenLabs Hydrogen repository and performed a dist-upgrade. Once the upgrade was complete, I was told to consider removing xscreensaver from the openbox autostart file and then removing/purging xscreensaver. Otherwise, xscreensaver might conflict with light-locker. Well, I didn't know what previously existed in the bl-lock file, so how do you go back to using xscreensaver? Fortunately, I dual boot a stable BunsenLabs with one tracking unstable, so I was able to save the existing bl-lock file prior to upgrading. Following is what you need to do if you desire to continue using xscreensaver with bl-lock.
First, as indicated in the message after the dist-upgrade, remove light-locker. Then edit /usr/bin/bl-lock with root privileges and change it to reflect the following:
#!/bin/bash
# bl-lock
# -------
# This is a wrapper for the 'xscreensaver-command -lock' command.
xscreensaver-command -lock
exit 0
Make sure you hit the [RETURN] key after the last line and then save your changes. You may have to perform this procedure again if bl-lock is upgraded in the future. You could also keep a backup of your changed bl-lock file and then copy and paste, with root privileges, whenever bl-lock is upgraded.

hi KrunchTime
just followed your turorial as I did not like the bl-lock option (after I had followed the instructions in the dist-upgrade)
(hmmm don't know why it was decided / what's the point to replace the original screen lock in the first place...)
The screensaver works but I do not get the "log back in" window anymore, so moving the mouse is sufficient to and access the screen.
How can I get this window back so people cannot connect when I am away from my machine?
Thanks
