Hello guys from different timezones!
I'm dave13, new to GNU/Linux and new to Crunchbang.
I don't have great amount of info regarding #!.
Actually this is the 1st time I'm using a Linux distribution and #! is my 1st.
Hopefully I will learn quickly on how to do stuff in #! like installing/unsinstalling and customization. I heard you can do almost anything using GNU/Linux
(I've been using windows for the rest of my life before this)
I'm not a programmer or an IT guy, I studied a completely different field. So I may have to look for Linux for Dummies.
I'm looking forward to a great experince using #!.
Device I'm using is Asus Eee PC 2g Surf
Have a nice day!

Hello Dave, welcome to the forums.
Most linux distributions are based on Debian. So if you need help with anything you can ask here or on the debian forums. Also, google is your friend as well. Sometimes people have lives outside of the computer (gasp!), or are in differing time zones and such aren't able to provide instant feed back. But we will do what we can to help you.

You do realise that #! is discontinued? But hopefully the spirit of #! will continue with the Bunsen Labs "Hydrogen".
Time to move on!#
