So in spectrwm workspaces are actually workspaces? (and not tags like in dmw)

My english grammer sucks lol -- ever have them days where your brain say one thing and your fingers type what ever they want? lol
Or worse...
Brain says "A", fingers type "B" and what you meant was "E=MC²" and then you wonder why people don't understand.
Mandatory screenshot... This is my Bunsen wannabe Deb8 NetInstall

well thier is always Virtual Box I got mine stuffed with Distros. the good part is you can halt it in the state it is in then pick it up later when you have time to run it. and still do things with your current Distor while its installing.
I installed RedArch that way. it was taking hours to download I had to shut it down then started up again the next day to finish it installing. the thing I was wondering about it'd drop the hook up to the sight and lose everything having to start over. nope it just started up like I never shut it down. lost one file so I tried it again just to see what I could see.
I just stopped it between mid points of finishing up one and just before it started another one.
if you get it take the one off of Orcle websight
with many Distros 27 installs so far --

this is my other Distro I installed on my laptop, then installed Void and am just now getting logged into this one to check it out now.
vlocity.linux and XFCE4 default install which does great in a pinch.

A Frankenstein session on my Bunsen partition that came out pretty sweet.
Mate, caja and mate-panel uninstalled, replaced with thunar and xfce4-panel. I'm using xfce4-appfinder, too.
Wall: bl-grey
GTK: bunsen-dark

OK four systems on my HDD here and heading for the fifth ...
First up Crunchbang Waldorf changed to track Debian Wheezy
Second in the lineup is Debian8 Sector11-ized (new word) with a touch of BunsenLabs
And directly behind that one comes BunsenLabs via the Deb8 NetInatall with the Bunsen-netinstall script from GitHub
And latest addition BunsenLabs-64bit Live ISO by hhh - still in it's OOTB state.
Next up and quite possibly the system I will continue to use BunsenLabs-32bit Live ISO by hhh. Because I have to add multi-arch to my 64bit system to get my laser printer running anyway. Have to do more research on that one to see if it's the best option.

Stayed up all night, and I haven't slept yet, but @johnraff along with my arch fiddling earlier inspired me to do a Jessie netinstall.
I took that DarkCold4 theme from earlier and made everything red (because it was either that or green). It took like 8 hours. I had to...it went with the zen of the wallpaper (from Ghosts of Paraguay's Silent Soul LP Mix).

I normally steer clear of things red, but that rusty-red-brown, as I see it, you have going there is beautiful. So glad you chose read over green. How did you grab the wall from the video? Awesome, just awesome ... I like it better then the blue one, and blue is my favourite colour.

Trying to add some fake padding to dwm via urxvt options (Decided that dwm tags are way better than spectrwm workspaces)
p.s. Been googling a lot, but cant find .Xresources worth stealing for some reason, hints? (yeah I found #! mega thread as well..)

Do you mean this thread: http://crunchbang.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=9935
https://terminal.sexy/ is fantastic for colour schemes -- it has plenty of examples, including a few from our very own gutterslob

I'm actually pretty proud of that! I screenshotted the video, cropped it with gimp, and used tineye to find the original. It was a decent quality too.
@HoaS I actually used terminal.sexy to generate my .Xresources for urxvt. I believe the colorscheme was Mashup Colors by User77 under xcolors.net. And then I used those colors to set the GTK theme.
EDIT: And the fluxbox style (equivalent to the obmenu/tint2 colorscheme) I hand edited to match that same colorscheme.

Actually I stand corrected, lots of great stuff in that thread, just don't have the need some time to really go over it ...
