Re: Completely Off Topic Chat

American is real, bro. America is right. I've got myself a tenderloin the size of Texas. It's on my plate, and Aunt Martha is growing at the standard rate... but this ain't right! We'll be coming around the mountain when we come... Yeah. Well. What can you say, right? Three points for the interloper. Here's a mandible you might wish to investigate! It's called Sam, and it's on the lam!

I was drunk on citrus-flavored vodka, and Lou Reed was singing about the perfect day that once was. And how glad he was that he spent it with me. And this lady tried to tell me that Inherent Vice was written by Palahniuk, but no! He didn't get out of the cockadoodie car!

Uphold my pancreas, young man. Upholstery is your future. Your future, young man, is in upholstery. I feel that there is a pancreas I can uphold. I can withdraw. I live in a land where the pancreas reigns supreme. And I feel there is a pancreas I can uphold. A pancreas I can uphold. I feel there is a pancreas I can uphold.

You get a thread ... I get the boot {again} ... now I delete my account ... Ubuntu started making me jump through hoops to get on - I abandoned that conky thread and I closed out my account.  Now it's Debian's time - just logged out ... Bye bye Debian Forums

An entry on the blacklist may have several reasons:
1. You are a well-known spammer.
2. Last time a well-known spammer was using the dynamic IP address which you got from your ISP (Internet Service Provider), your e-mail address or the username you have choosen.
3. Your ISP is well-known for a lot of spamming customers and is not fighting against spammers enough.

I'm not going to send emails every week to stay online there.

I joined in 2010.  That means I've had the same ISP since I joined and only had this problem in the past two weeks.

Re: Completely Off Topic Chat

so apple os x and Oracel  VirtualBox ~ why do they even have it so one can install APplE OS X ?
I got it installed, finally, and then it tells me it has to have guest installed to really do anything with it. so I google how to's, then find on Ubuntu and Oracel the post are locked with a don't even think of asking us how to. because Apple with its selfish  you can only use our stuff with our stuff ideology. their is no way to really use it unless a hack is around to do so use it, so with Oracel's stance on the matter especially on this issue it  makes me wonder why they even wasted their time making it available to install it on their own software?

I'd boycox them by not even making it so one could install it. it is a waste of time. just start it up and look at it?

I haven't played with it much, yet. Because I am just in the process of installing OS's on it right now, before seeing what one can then do with them in a safe hacking environment.

Living in Vancouver, I can tell you this, I did not have to shovel snow off the driveway even once this past winter. The little bit we did get was gone very quickly.

Oh, and happy 4th to our neighbours to the south.

I am not sure if people here study or have interest into economics (and, by extension, political economy), but in any case, this new commentary by Steve Waldman is worth reading.
