Are you running Debian8 / #! upgraded to Debian8 / BunsenLabs?
terminal:
whereis libgtk1.2
and
apt-cache policy libgtk1.2
Where did you get the instructions to install Unreal Tournament so we can read them to help.

Pleeeeeease tell me you didn't add an Ubuntu repo!! It is foolish to mix Debian and Ubuntu repos; therein madness lies...and dependency hell, and broken packages, and horses eating each other (and not in the fun Lyra x Bon Bon kind of way, but in the bloody, gory Cupcakes kind of way).

nope. debian repo.

@malvidx -- was I mistaken?
Are you using wheezy/Waldorf?
I must admit that I haven't actually tried to install UT4 in wheezy, I was just assuming the ancient libc6 would prove insurmountable.
Can you please provide details as to how you solved your problem?
I'm sure other members of the community would find it useful.

sure!
im using jessie.
i added the repo archive.kernel.org/debian-archive/debian
then installed from there.
