I am using Flamini icons set by KotusWorks, too bad he stoped supporting it and starting using different icon set, but i like flamini better as i've noted on DA comment.

Yeah, logo (Debian>Bunsen>clock thingy) totally rocks imho, still can't tell whats the time thought, perhaps a really small numerals could be placed somewhere inside the clock (and personally i would remove the date).

I think clock numerals would detract from the image visually, but dots might work. I'll have a play with it.

(Remove the last 2 lines from the conkyrc if you don't want the date and time)

I will have to look. I may be stretching it. Only one screen running at the moment but I did kind of just slap it together last night.

Re: May 2015 Screenshot Thread

Used the https://github.com/BunsenLabs/bunsen-netinstall
Looking nice so far (impressed with conky-chooser & tint2-chooser thingy)
prebunsen.jpg

Some (ir)relevant questions/suggestions;
a. Do we really need all the geany plugins
b. gstreamer plugins stuff? < is this iceweasel/html5 related?
c. xfce4-powermanager and kernel and how is this working? (good link will do)
edit: quite a story here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Power_management
d. Geany could come with some darker theme as default (kugel seems very close, alternatively: monokai, Oblivion 2, Retro)
http://shrani.si/f/o/Uy/3cDnXW3k/kugel.png
e. Should there be a ~/backup folder created (I think there was in #!).
f. Midnight commander could be a part of default install
g. grub/login wallpapers should be separated, hidden from nitrogen.

Re: May 2015 Screenshot Thread

Head_on_a_Stick,
b. yes, but vlc is not using those right?
c. Kernel (or something else) seems to have some sort of power management already in, just want to be clear on what does what.

I think it can use them if they are available.

c. Kernel (or something else) seems to have some sort of power management already in, just want to be clear on what does what.

That depends on what you mean by "power management" -- XFCE4-power-manager provides options for screen blanking and notifications for low-battery warnings and such like.

Personally, I prefer using individual tools for all the functions provided by that program and I only use it in my OpenBox desktop to provide a systray battery status icon...

^ that did not work, as it is the default in BL. The below did work, however:

shadow-exclude = [
    "n:e:xfce4-notifyd",
    "class_g = 'Conky'"
    ];

Edit: also I ended up moving the conky on the left down 35 px instead of 20 as it was slightly overlapping tint2

Also, @damo, I had the wrong size wallpaper set. It looks like this now:

Thank you -- it looks like a bigger job than I had anticipated, I have to backport some of the dependency chain as well...
sad

EDIT: I can't do it without backporting libc6 sad

Then I deleted the wheezy chroot folder whilst /proc, /sys & /dev still had bind mounts in place to my Arch system directories and left myself with a system that could only be turned off by holding down the power button for 4 seconds...
