The redirection in 'Mark this forum as read'

This is just a thought I have regarding the redirection when I push the 'Mark this forum as read'. When I push it I am finish reading and looking through the topics in the sub section and want to move up and back to the Index page. It does what it says and it does what it is supposed to do: Mark the forum as read and removing the marks. But after that I always end up with pressing the index button to get me up a level. There may be a reason for the way it works today, that I don't know of. But to me it seems a bit odd that it stays in the same subsection after you have pressed the 'Mark this forum as read'.

Is there anybody else here who have any thoughts about this subject? Or is it just me who are locked in a habit and doesn't notice the logic in it?   8)

Re: The redirection in 'Mark this forum as read'

I would also find it just the tiniest bit more useful if it redirected to the index page. Saves one click.
