lol  I have no clue at all.. I didn't even know that she was supposed to have wings 8o Maybe the artist was saying to himself/herself: "Shit.. I knew there was something missing.. but I couldn't put my finger on it. Uno momento please........ aaaaaaaand...... Here you go!!" big_smile

Edit: Fixed link.

^ Looks like even Sethisto missed that one; the wingless original is still up at EqD.  (What does he care, she's not Trixie. lol ) I suppose the artist can be excused, seeing as how his "deviations" are primarily Sonic-based.

Last note here might be of some help for Compton tearing...

No infinality, basic Jessie stuff, font is cuprum. Do I really need compton (Just the idea that I would have to experiment with that again, makes me sick)?

Re: February 2015 Screenshot Thread

Thanks for the font name. It's very pretty, just the same problem I have with a lot of sans serif fonts, that the lowercase l and uppercase I are almost indistinguishable. I've stayed with Trebuchet forever as a result.

Of course compositing is optional. Cheers!

Re: February 2015 Screenshot Thread

Built with apt-get and BunsenLabs git alone, with bunsen1-dark-theme, and hhh's grey.jpg...Here's BunsenLabs Hydrogen rcWally:

second_Scrot.jpg

I have to say it looks a little emo. Especially compared to Waldorf.

2015_02_27_1425022875_1280x800_scrot.jpg

I'm definitely a fan of two things. The off-white window borders (of Waldorf), and the dark interior of the windows (on bunsen1-dark-theme). Black on black has been done ad nauseum. Or maybe Waldorf appeals to me is because it's just a contrast thing that I failed to learn when I fell asleep in art class. Either way, I'll be tweaking it when I get some time and taking a good hard look at the one in the github repo.

Thunar defintely looks better having a dark background, but I can't say I'm a fan of those out-of-nowhere brown folder icons. There was one scrot that I had seen, I wish I could find it on unixporn, that had wire outlines of a folder shape for the folder icons in thunar. It was sleek.

Tell ya one thing though...Iceweasel looks damn sexy with that dark address bar and tab theme. Mmm! Lastly, I think the desktop menu could use a little more transparency. So I guess I got some things to do over the weekend.

P.S. This would be my first image post, so I didn't want to screw it up with a big honkin scrot. In going to this thread I saw @pvsage and @johnraff commenting on my birthday and I somehow felt reassured that we're in good hands.

Re: February 2015 Screenshot Thread

@smacz, download the Bunsen1 (light) theme and use that for your Openbox theme if you like the white-border contrast (link at the end of this post). The brown icons are the Gnome icon set, switch them in LXAppearance.

@Milozzy, I used Greybird as a template, then imported the Waldorf color scheme and changed Greybird's scrollbars to match each other in to GTK2 and GTK3 and to resemble Waldorf's. I thought it was on GitHub but it isn't yet, download it here...

Lowrider: Logarithmic spirals are always cool. I like the rough sketchbook structure in the wall too.
Milozzy: It would be nice to see what you are riding on today.  Whatever it is, I'm sure it looks good.

I'm supposing I like dark gtk themes because by the time I actually get to sit in front of a nix box, I have had to stare at osx for 9 hours. ^ Im liking that theme btw.

It's still crunchy-dark-grey, I'm renaming it to Bunsen2-dark, and I will. I haven't used a dark theme in a while, and I'm noticing some issues *cough buttons*. When everything's ironed out, I'll have twoion push the changes to GitHub.

Fantastic, can't wait to look into your crunchy grey theme didn''t checked before IIRC. Thank you for making another fine theme for us.
