Hi
So I learned there's a 0day vulnerability in Adobe Flash and that I need to update Flash from version 11,2,202,440 to version 11,2,202,442.
On the installion page of Adobe Flash Player there's a drop-down menu where one should choose which package to download..I admit that I have no idea. I use the Synaptic Package Manager when I need to install something..
I THINK the tar.gz is the right one but I don't know how to install it...

Yeah if it's a zero day vulnerability, debian security should pick it up and get it fixed pretty quick.

The forum search tool is the icon at the top right of the page. There have been several threads recently, including Updating "Vulnerable plug-in" Adobe Flash [Solved]. This has the fix that @schwim gave you, along with some other bits and pieces.
I find I have to restart the browser after the update.
