Apparently stable Debian and its derived distros don't matter to Google if they cannot be bothered to continue supporting the dev environment until the next stable version is at least released.  I guess evil is relative...

apt-get purge chromium

programming and administering unix since 1976 (BSD, System III, Xenix, System V, Linux)
