Crash of libre office.

Hello forum, I'm new in CB and recently I instaled libreoffice with the option in the start menu(Conky?), but after making a work with images, it failed to open this same work when I intented do it.  I'm working in a dual core 1.8 Gh, 1 Gb ram, 64 bits and Qiana runs so well there. Thanks for the atention.
Sorry for the english but I'm self learning and I hadn't had so much pratice in it.
I was testing and found that is with the windows format saving, couse I save the doccument in default settings and it can be open rigth.

Hi there Tohto, welcome to crunchbang smile

We need to know what you have done and what errors LibreOffice is giving you. What type of file, which application are you using etc.

If it makes it easier for you, then ask your question in Spanish. There are a lot of Spanish speakers here, including Mexicans!

Re: Crash of libre office.

Hi DAMO, thanks for the atention.

Well I just opened the LOwriter ap and take a couple of images from internet and paste them in the doccument, then, I saved the doc like microsoft Word 2007/2010 XML (doc.x) format. and when I try to open the doc again it gave: (Last try) "READ_ERROR" or (Yesterday trys) "It seems that writer couldn't open or is having troubles oppening the doc" or so. But saving it in defaults settings it runs well. Thanks.

I'm working in a dual core 1.8 Gh, 1 Gb ram, 64 bits and Qiana (LMint 17) runs so well there. Thanks for the atention.

The O. S. is CB Waldorf and the ap is LOwriter

Re: Crash of libre office.

Hi Sector11, thanks for the reply.

I saved like microsoft Word 2007/2010 XML (doc.x) format.
Qiana as Linux Mint 17 QIANA.
The menú that appears when you rigth click on the desktop. I think this is the start menu.

Re: Crash of libre office.

Right Click is the OpenBox Menu - There is no "Start Menu" in #!.
Linux Mint 17 QIANA - OK, that is Cinnamon - that's a Desktop and has a Start Menu of sorts that they call "Menu" beside the Mint Logo in the bottom left.

Now I'm thinking there was something I had to add with LO when I installed it ...

Do you get any errors in a terminal if you start it there?

Re: Crash of libre office.

Sorry, and how I can start it in a terminal? I mean what are the orders I must enter in the terminal or where I can find them? Must I use the same I have used in the QIANA's terminal? Is it the same to DEBIAN?
Thanks.
