Adding a good text-to-speech engine to a PDF-viewer

Howdy

I'm looking for something that can match Ivona on my Android phone.

I've tried Okular+Jovie, but Jovie is horrible..it comes with a default speech synthesizer which is poor, and I can't seem to replace the synthesizer with a different one.

I'm not sure about the PDF-viewer bit, but here's the Debian page on text-to-speech tools:
https://www.debian.org/devel/debian-acc … y/software
Hope this helps wink
