@S11: yes, but bodhi has had some problems recently.
@jdonaghy: funny how the terminal looks like a painting on the wall.

@hhh: Nice, what was the name of the icon-theme you used in that screenshot?
I don't know.

Thanks gents. The GTK and Xfwm themes are my own. The wall was from Wallpaper Abyss. I can't find it there now, but...

thanks for the wall, hhh. it's a nice piece of graphic design. if you remember where it came from, feel free to share again.
ps: wow, wallpaper abyss seem to be one of those better wallpaper sites.

@arnold: wonderful wallpaper & choice of fonts!
@HoaS: I'm not saying it isn't so, but can you point out how infinality is better than "normal fonts"?
here's my crunchbang in a virtualbox without any fancy stuff:

here's my current archlinux, again without infinality:

and here's yours again for comparison:

you are using a different ui font, but inside the browser i really don't see a difference.

@ohnonot -- yes, the standard font rendering in GNU/Linux is very good these days and there is only a small difference when using Infinality. Also, the fontconfig used by #! is superb.
In my GhostBSD install however, the standard font rendering (as well as the rest of the graphics stack) is behind GNU/Linux and there is a definite improvement. I should have posted a "before" pic -- the text on the #! forums was very "spidery" (if that's a word) with no hinting at all.
