In the early 70's, in Toronto ON Canada, the city put on a commercial at 10PM every night for a spell.
It's 10 o'clock, do you know where your children are?
Finally a University Professor got 10 students to call 10 people, randomly from the phone book, at 10PM asking if they knew where there kids were. Can't remember the exact percentage but in the 80% range of the calls were answered by kids that didn't know where their parents were. Once that appeared in the papers the city commercial kinda disappeared.
GEE, I wonder why?
