Beta was released and it does work.
However, seems there is an issue when its started at boot time though. Doesn't let you get past slim login.

But yes I have tested and have been wanting this for a very long time.

Re: Google Chrome Stable

64-bit flavor working fine for me, except for the ongoing flash issue that you have to manually resolve, possibly until Jessie is released.

Re: Google Chrome Stable

Google Chrome Stable is broken:
The last version of google-chrome-stable (37.0.2062.120-1) from about a week or so ago starts okay.
Even the beta 40.x is broken for 32bit and probably 64bit.
Still waiting for the fix.

Re: Google Chrome Stable

According to this post in the MX-14 forum:  http://forum.mepiscommunity.org/viewtop … 45#p349145
the fix should be out this next week.

"Hope springs eternal...."

"... #12 in the bugreport (https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issu ... 418554#c12) says that 38.xxxx was the first Chrome build using Clang."

[Edit]
...and a later note, quoted from the google-chrome buglist says,  "Quote:
There's no need for further confirmations. The fix (38.0.2125.103 or newer) will likely go out early next week. Hang in there."
