Anyone else having problems with Vimeo?

A little while ago I suddenly found myself in the unfortunate situation of not being able to enjoy videos from Vimeo on my Waldorf box.

Example: http://vimeo.com/30315156

In Iceweasel it doen't play at all and in Opera it is way too jumpy and laggy for anyoune to enjoy. This came out of the blue and I have no idea if this has to do with some change at Vimeo or in my system.

Re: Anyone else having problems with Vimeo?

^Unplayable here on Firefox 25.0.1 (Mint box). Message: "Uh oh! This video can't be played with your current setup."

I noticed an issue with YouTube last night also (and switched to the html5 player).

Re: Anyone else having problems with Vimeo?

Hi there, I'm running Firefox/Iceweasel-Aurora 27.0a2 (2013-11-15) and Firefox-Nightly 28.0a1 (2013-12-07) on my 32bit box and Vimeo runs without any problems on both versions. It might be worth trying.  Good luck!

Re: Anyone else having problems with Vimeo?

Hi, I'm afraid not. The video works just fine on my #box (slow in HD as its running in a >10 years old laptop). In my case I'm having some troubles playing Youtube HTML5 videos, they won't load more than 10 second, 1 minute or less and then they get stuck loading. Sometimes they won't even start playing at all, just stuck on loading. I solved this using IceWeasel or Opera to force YT to use flashplayer instead of HTML5 ...

Re: Anyone else having problems with Vimeo?

I switched to a FireFox Nightly build (28.0a1) and videos seem to be working as they should here. This was after trying FireFox 25 with a fresh profile (which didn't work).

Something I did just notice on the Vimeo site, when right-clicking on a video I'm getting a standard browser page dialog (FireFox) or no dialog (Chrome) instead of the flash info/settings dialog. It's been a while since I've used Vimeo so I don't remember if it's always been like this.
