Dear okubax,
I'd love to know the name of that nicely spaced and easy-to-read font.
Cheers and congratulations for the great setup,

@ GekkoP - very nice!
What is "sys-info" an alias for?

^ sys-info is just a script I made. I simply modified screenfetch, adding info about disk usage and deleting everything I don't need (like ASCII logos, for instance).

well, I'm inexperienced with linux and don't know how to make fancy changes like most of you have. But here is what my environment looks like.
I was unable to install a new icon theme because every time I tried, the program crashed on me...
If you want to see the image in higher resolution, just right click on it and press open image in new tab.

Using Ubuntu 12.04 as a testbed to learn i3.. I know, right?
I've gotten the basics down and also I'm in pretty good shape with my .i3config-fonts-xresources etc.
Now I'm messing with .i3status...

Beautiful works, as always.
Here's my debian gome shell (dual boot macbook 4,1), with a minimal tint2 panel (thanks #!). Very simple but functional.

I never thought about using tint2 alongside Gnome-Shell in order to get the bottom panel back... looks neat and should do the job. Great idea!

That`s actually a very good idea. Looks good, but most importantly, the tint2 panel adds functionality to Gnome. Thums up:)

My first attempt at making a clean but fun looking Desktop. I'm really pleased with Conky. Its really basic but it is a first attempt.
