Geany: Snippet for current datetime?

Hi there folks,

I'm hoping someone more savvy than I with Geany can help me figure this out.   I'd like to be able to set a shortcut for posting current datetime so I can more easily set the last modified date on my files.  I see snippets and I see the datetime setting under templates in settings, but I'm not sure how to utilize it.  My hope is to highlight the datetime string then just use a shortcut to replace it.

Anyone have an idea on how I might do that?

Thanks for your time!
