Nice! I'm getting temperature fluctuations more now though. For the last few days acpitemp was reading no more than 50c, even when running video, etc. Now I'm getting 65c just looking at the forums. Weirdness.

On Arch and x121e, kernel 3.6.11.1-arch, with tlp, I'm getting base power at 3.10w, with running normal tasks from 8-10w. Going to build the liquourix kernel for Arch later as I'm having wireless issues, so that might make a difference somehow too...

Taylorchu's powerdown script (potentially with some conflict to TLP, I don't know...)
Most probably you are getting racing between TLP and Powerdown; they both set the same options and might try overwriting eachother.

I'm getting lower watts consumption since installing powerdown. It has a few additional things, like pcie_aspm, dpms, udev rules like on ac and on battery, just off the top of my head.
I think using Thinkfan to bypass the x121e fan setting (constantly on) renders the most remarkable power savings.

Those udev rules were my idea I'm just saying you probably shouldn't want to (have to) use TLP when using Powerdown.
