That's what I hate about Scotland, you just get the same damn weather with slightly lower temperatures and that north sea breeze that makes you regret leaving you nice Balkan (as in the mountain range) hometown for the cold wild northwestern Europe

Looking at 62 °F, Partly Cloudy, Low: 44 °F for Thursday in Fort Worth, TX. Which is... 16.6667 on the metric side.
You-all can keep that Celsius nonsense. It just sounds like freezing!

@magic: I know that 37C is body temperature; I hope it's at least not too humid where you are.
39F here, and it's raining. Great cyclocommuting weather.

Been there, \/\//\/\ - once I arrived at work looking like one of these:
...and for the record, I was already starting to come down with the flu the preceding weekend; the freezing rain had nothing to do with that. Was still the worst flu I'd had in over a decade though...and I still kept cyclocommuting, because I need(ed) the paycheck and it's too far to walk.
Looks like today will be mercifully dry...still cold though.
Didn't have a proper Indian Summer this year; it was broken up into several short 2-3 day spans of warmish weather. D@mn climate change.

^ ha, turns out my bike broke, snapped the bolt that runs through the rear wheel bearings, too many hills....my mate had to come and get me, took him an hour in the fog all told, had to work overtime... still, it hasn't frozen yet.
sorry to hear you're poorly i too have some sort of 'flu sort of thing. better get tucked up in bed...

@\/\//\/\: That was actually nearly two years ago that I had the flu, but thanks.
I've broken an axle bolt too (also some time ago) - somehow managed to finish the ride in to work with the rear wheel wobbling and the chain jumping from cog to cog. Had to get a lift home that night...fortunately, I had a spare bike that I could ride until I got a replacement axle. (Both bikes are box store beaters.)
My latest "WTF moment" with a bike was a broken bearing cup. D@mn thing just shore off and fell into the hub! How the Bi*b*r does that happen?! I figured since I was already having enough trouble with the rim never wanting to stay true (at one point I considered loosing all the spokes and completely rebuilding the wheel) and even having a slight twist that I couldn't flatten out, it was time to replace the whole d@mn wheel. (Replacement wheel's been rolling great.)

Still 34,6°C in my living room right now - 10:08 pm here. I'm done with the summer. I like fall and winter more. Again a sleepless night.
