Hi there everyone!
I've got a problem and it's not OB or #! specific. I have the issue with quite a few linux installs.
I often need to resize app windows by grabbing the side handles and dragging it across the screen. The issue I have is that with a mousepad, it can take me 10 or more seconds to move the cursor around until it stays exactly over the window edge, allowing me to resize. Even the slightest bump to the computer can cause it to fall out of the capability to dragging.
Can I make the window manager a little less stingy in this regard? I'd really like a bit fatter handles on the windows, if that's possible.
Thanks!

An option you have here is to make the window handle a few pixels wider in gtkrc. Try this line:
GtkWindow ::resize-grip-width = 0
Edit: as pvsage says...

No problem in Openbox; not sure about other WMs/DEs though.
In Openbox:
1. Copy your favorite theme from /usr/share/themes to ~/.themes and rename it. (Make sure you dothis as yourself and not root; otherwise you may run into permissions issues.)
2. In ~/.themes/{theme}/openbox-3/themerc, look for code similar to the following:
border.Width: 1
window.handle.width: 4
and edit accordingly. Border.Width and Window.Handle.Width (apparently case isn't important here) refer to the borders at the sides of the screen and the little resize blocks at the bottom corners of the window respectively.

...I removed mine completely and just use alt+space z....

Thanks a bunch dura,
I found my gtkrc(mine), but see no option for this in the file. As well, I can't find any mention of it in the documentation.
Any idea of what to place in the file?

I think pvsage's method is the right way to go about it it. I'm using a flatstudio I've taken all padding etc stuff off. Copy the theme you are using and then attack the themerc and gtkrc files.
