Dutch version broken

I installed Crunchbang Linux this afternoon and I was busy with it till late in the evening. The reason for this is that I couldn't get it installed at first.

when trying to install it in Dutch, the installment hangs. It doesn't automatically installs grub or Lilo. Trying to do that, only caused the system to reinstall.

So I tried to install #! in English and that worked.

So now I live in Great-Britain and I have an all-English Desktop. My ancestors would go nuts if they had any way of knowing this.

Can't you do this?

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install debconf
sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales

And select what you want?

The install was a fresh install. I probably could have opened a terminal and installed grub from the commandline. The above commands wouldn' t have helped me at the time.

The point is that the installation of grub should have been automatically. And it wasn't. It left me dumbfounded. Not knowing what to do.

@Probe34:  I think this is a known issue with the Debian installer when installing for locales other than English or US.  Here's another thread with a similar problem.

This is very bad for #!. People like me wanting to install #! for the first time, who run into problems during install. Lots of people would have quit.
