Re: My tint2 config

Mine is basically Hanna's from a while back reconfigured to my own taste using the original Waldorf. The look makes me love CrunchBang and Tint2. Used it intermittently over the last 2 years, but never on my main machine.

PunBB bbcode test

Yay. I enjoy just looking at it (pic taken from flight to Barcelona!)

Re: My tint2 config

Post the config file as well d! so others can look over the code if they like it smile

@falldown, my systems in terms of themes don't vary much from the default these days. corenominal really has the aesthetics down pat smile Thanks for the feedback on the background. It's a photo I took earlier this week.

@VastOne - Unity?... bah! I was thinking more OS X like your recent cairo-dock tongue

^ You bet...

Also, the code for autohide has changed

Instead of this

autohide_delay= .5
autohide_show_delay= .5

you need this

autohide_hide_timeout= .5
autohide_show_timeout= .5

Re: My tint2 config

cjtron inspired me to combine my 3 tint2 configs into one

This single panel/launcher/task manager/systray is 8 MiB usage compared to 50 MiB for the same thing in Cairo-Dock and Docky

screenshot-10022012-065018pm.php

Left are launchers, centered is tasks and right is the systray all in a single tint2 config.

Re: My tint2 config

Well done...
I have tried your tint2-3 way and I its superb and i liked it smile
I sure got inspired now to make a sequal to my own tint2 with this new layout.

Thanks for posting this and it was easy to setup, the screenshot I made and posted for you to see how it  looks becouse I found two problems with this layout.

After playing with this and setting it up all is well as defaults but there were few issues that I don't know why.

1st is the white plain icon at the bottom and I had two before but i removed one launcher
(network manager)  try it..  Maybe it can be reproduced ...

and 2nd see the icons in the middle? they got squished the more launchers I added ...
Just something I noticed..
Just take a peek at the uploaded pix
62058-qZqWmpmgk5.rmpyVnqk-screenshot_10012012_1154_pm.png

But man, very nice if you dont put too many launchers on the panel and I got inspired by this !
If I get more time next weekend, I might play with tint2 a bit more smile

I updated the tint2 code which arrange it differently, that may help.  Also, the settings on padding and size of icons may differ on your setup than on mine.

As far as what the blank icons are, it would seem that these launchers are not setup correctly.

Let me know what I can do to help test it..
