Time for September Screenshots! Great scrots in August, let's keep it going!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please continue to use thumbnails (please try to avoid the large thumbnail imgur.com code) linking to the larger image to help those of us with slow connections. An example of the code needed is below. Most image hosting sites will automatically generate this for you as well. Users have been using postimage.org lately which does a nice job.

That looks sexy. Is it DWM? Planning on going tiling on an old PC I owned back at my parents'.
And my current desktop. Nothing new. Been searching for a different background image but nothing feels right

It's i3 wm.
What irks me more than anything are those grey | in the bar on top right..they put that there for you...i whined about it in the channel few weeks back and now there's a patch pending to remove it thank god.
btw i had a hard time leaving black backgrounds too.

Thank you sir(ma'am?)
The bright orange-pinkish color is actually from one of your screenshots, the girl with the gun and teddybear.

This is what I've settled on for my little Eee701. The machine's limitations kind of force a minimal approach.
Wallpaper is an Arnold Odermatt photo that grabbed me. I just added the speech bubbles. Tint2 and Conky styles and Tint2 icons are my own. I change the highlight colour pretty regularly depending on mood.
(edit: better quality pics)

@hhh
In your last screenshots, you use gnome 3/gnome-shell.
How did you get out that icon in panel near Terminal in left side?
Thanks.
I'll never forget that night, the night Jesus Christ made the blackness white<underoath>

Another month started with Good Artwork... my Desktop is always so Basic.
.. @Vastone, I can't be sure if you are running Xfce or OpenBox with IDesk..or maybe {shrug} so modified from the original. ??
@unia, @mahatman2, @none & et al nice stuff !!
@ Treefingers liked your scrots and was Drawn to the Auto crash in your Left most shot.. The car on the right looks like my Ex Simca (circa 1965) but could be a Fiat of some type.. Anyone know the Body style?
Here is my Sept Wheezy in OpenBox with IDesk icons and a Conky.. nothing much but had spent some time getting the tint2 desktops to display with particular artistic appeal..
Notice I had stated particular and not Good..
Edit: Dropped an N

Euh, I didn't upload anything yet but I see what you did there
if you insist, here's a scrot of what I'm currently running:
I've fully migrated to systemd (it got pushed down with an update, so I made the switch. A week ago I tried it briefly and decided to stay with SysV a bit longer. The irony ) It's all working really smooth (startup in 11seconds now, but still using e4rat), except for that I still have to get used to the idea of having one application manage startup, power management, sleep/hibernate etc instead of having different packages to do that. (and, for now, there's no pm-powersave functionality and also it doesn't recognise my sleep button which could all be solved by using acpid)
Also, I am in the process of porting 212gaia to GTK3, as you can see on transmission which is GTK3.

^ Yes, I didn't want to leave anyone out..
Very Nice, I had to look up Gaia.
Just when I thought I knew Linux.... I must have been out of Class the day Gaia was covered..
I see you have a little Arch in your Shoe.
I do prefer the way of Slackware though.

What do you mean with Slackware? Gaia is the GTK theme I'm using, if that's what you mean

^ Yes.. Gaia was my reference to out of Class that day...
My Slackware reference was in reference to your mention of SystemV.. So, I believed you were referring to SystemV vs. Slackware init..
