1) automounting of all HD's attached.. since it pops up regularly on the forum and I don't understand why it is not automated.. installed #! does not pick up other hd partitions in thunar. always some steps to mount it.. I wonder what's the benefit of not having drives picked up?
2) persistent live system optional or by default would be the bomb! #! could be the perfect system to go.
3) no third point. waldorf is awesome.

1) Thunar showing a partition of an internal HDD would be a new bug in the thunar-volman and/or gvfs bugtracker. It would be acceptable, if users had to turn it on explicitly. Configure your fstab. Why killing performance and stability by mounting anything internal in userspace? Thank you Ubuntu for introducing such a "feature".

^ To solve the problem ("no time for shopping"):
Ask your girlfriend/wife. She'll definitely have time for shopping

good idea - problem is: she's living in another city and I will see her later next week.. so I might have to do the harddrive shopping myself. plus she will probably flip if I ask her to buy something computer related. she's more the average user, y'know.

How sweet, your 520th post is about your better half. In China, the numbers 520 stand for Wo (5) Ai (2) Ni (0), this means "I love you". You should show her

Little tip: 530 stands for Wo (5) Xiang (3) Ni (0) - that means "I miss you" - so dedicate it to her

So...what does 420 mean in Chinese? (I'm sure you know what it means in American English... )

4 is not a good number, associated with death. That's why there's no 14th floor in some buildings - Yao (1) Si (4) = want death.
Oh, Ganja Sick enough, April 20th is the birthday of Hitler....

...but isn't there an alternative Kanji/pronunciation for four in Cantonese? I know that in Japanese 4 can be either shi or yon...is there a Chinese equivalent of yon? (By the way, already read over the "four is death" tvtropes page. )

There are many pronunciations in dialects possible in Chinese, if we take Cantonese it would be something like "sei", too - similar to Putonghua mandarin "si". I don't speak dialects well, only the most elementary words - the number four sounds similar in Zhuang, Xiang, Cantonese and Mandarin. Other dialects I don't speak
Edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Chinese_dialects
Many dialects are partly not mutually intelligible with Mandarin, and even not mutually intelligible in the same dialect group (for example Xiang dialect, where speakers of one part of the city don't understand those of the other part).
That was the reason the government introduced "Mandarin" - as common language (putonghua - common language).

Japanese is quite different from Chinese here. "shi" is the reading of 四 derived from the Chinese pronunciation (in whatever dialect the people who brought that kanji to Japan spoke) and "yon" is the native Japanese word for four. Many kanji have pairs of Chinese/Japanese pronunciations like this, but of course as machinebacon says, the only alternative pronunciations in Chinese will be dialects. Korean, however, does have similar pairings of imported Chinese and native readings. Japanese and Korean are both quite unrelated to Chinese, apart from a huge number of loan words.

Ah.
So, to sum up this little sidebar, 420 roughly transliterates to "Death loves you"? That's actually kinda sweet...morbidly sweet, but...
I guess that means 430 would be "Death missed you." Undead?? Vampire!
We now return you to saneks' wishlist.

5174. Wo yao qu si. I'm gonna STFU (or go to hell)
pvsage, the worst 'number' to give for any human would be 250 (means something like 'not even half as useful as a person without knowledge or skills'), or 38 if it's a woman (same meaning, but stems from March 8, Women's Day)
