so where is the tutorial on making the glass effect shadows??
Easy-peasy compared to creating the text in the first place
A simple glass text shadow can be got like this...
Select the text and save to a path;
Paint along the path with a suitable brush, then blur as necessary;
Select from the saved path, invert selection and delete - this leaves the blur on the inside;
Then stretch/rotate/translate the shadow layer until you have the geometry you want;
Play with the transparency to get the density right (maybe also use layer modes)
In the screenshot it looks like there are 2 shadow layers - one is just translated to the wall and the lower section deleted, and the other is stretched and rotated and the upper part deleted.
To get a "realistic" shadow you would have to work with a copy of the text layer, and play around with the saturation and opacity, and use that as the basic layer for the above steps.
Apologies to falldown if he thinks I'm stepping on his toes Cool effects though - I'm enjoying the series

You are right on the money.. two layers cut where the wall meets the floor and then perspective tool to angle the lower shadow.
Also the glass #! is 8 different layers with different layer modes applied.

No apologies necessary Damo.. just glad there is some interest in this thread.
I have more techniques that I plan on writing up at some point..

But but but .... Is that in English?
Don't sweat it, I have problems understanding a lot of things.
Haven't even got -glass text- down pat yet. Close but not 100%
Gotta get back to that someday soon. Tomorrow I "think" I'll be home all day.
Maybe ...
