Before I used #!, I used Ubuntu w/Compiz Fusion. This allowed me to invert the screen colors, which looks really awesome. However, I'm not sure how to do this in #!. Does anyone know of any apps which will let me invert the screen colors?
Thanks in advance!

Solved it! I installed xcalib and can now invert my screen colors at will! I also wrote a tutorial on the wiki

For what it's worth, you can also manually change the desktop background color (not including the image) via Nitrogen, and you can set the color of virtually every element in the Openbox and GTK themes by editing the respective theme files. I think xcalib is definitely worth a look though!

Yeah...it's much easier (for a tutorial on getting started, look at the Wikipage entry

Also, I needed it to be dynamic...that is, I shouldn't have to mess around with config files just to get the desktop to invert...I should be able to press a key, have the screen invert, press it again, and have it come back to normal...xcalib does that job perfectly

Now I need to figure out if I can invert the colors of only one window...xcalib does the whole screen...

Wait so, now your screen inverts everything? Including web pages?

That's one of the most epic ideas I've ever heard, since generally app designers insist on using dark text with light backgrounds. I could set the #! forums to use the black on grey theme and facebook would be like black background with yellow text. I never even though of doing something like that. I know in most laptop computers there is a hardware component that inverts colors at some point, since it uses less power to just produce nothing and then invert it to a white color (since the general public likes everything bright and shiny).
