Ok, a few hours early but I'm off to work and then a few weeks break with my family.

No shame as pointed out in second half of quote...
No, I'm just pulling your leg
And I pulled back... snicker... No harm intended safetycopy...
I chuckled all day over this thread.. and the memories of my daughters excitement over creepy looking vampires..
Some of the babes were hot though...

I've switched to XFCE because of a bug or my own messed up configuration in tint2. I should probably investigate it... but its easier to just switch to XFCE which runs just about as fast.

AWESOME! This is the functionality I was looking for for my desktop, it has a massive screen resolution so I actually use a dock-like launcher, but I like the XFCE panel :-p
Did you compile the source provided there and how is this plugin on resources?

No, I used the Ubuntu deb provided, it installed no problem for me on squeeze using Gdebi or dpkg. I've been using it for nearly a year, I think it's great. Custom icons, pinning, good preferences options. 15MB RAM plus another 9 for xfce4-xfapplet.
-edit- Oh yeah, left-click to open/minimize/unminimize, middle-click to close, right-click for "Move to Workspace..." and other options.

Unity looks pretty Omns, nice!
Like that color scheme hhh!
Love that font Sunshine Werewolf!
My desktop this month features my very own, very first conky config I chose function over form, and made a horizontal bar which stays visible with a desktop margin set (top or bottom)
Still tweaking, I shall post the config soon.
I delved into customizing my terminal too: As I dig deeper into directories the path annoyingly wraps in my terminal, so now my path has it's own line for sanity's sake.
Happy July everyone

Compiz Standalone with AWN dock.
Also I really dig my browser with this theme, so a special screenshot for that

Judging from your screenshot, i think Unity is not as bad as peoples says. Looks nice to me.
orionthehunter
I like your screenshot, XFCE is nice, btw will it be transformed again as your own LCARS? Wanna see that again.
hhh
Flawless as usual, and the graphite color on the theme is so nice too.
Sunshine the Werewolf
nice setups, and i really like the font on the conky, looks very nice.
kbmonkey
This kind of setups are always my favorite, simple horizontal conky with all the informations I need, and always visible. Nice setups mate.

Lxde has come a long way. Lubuntu, modified a bit (ok more than a bit perhaps), boots at 65mbyte ram. The lxde apps are becoming much more usable than some xfce ones. lxappearance for one has a TON of options whereas xfce apperance has too few. Pcmanfm has tabs (come on thunar) and proper device handling (imho). And
Of course lxpanel isn't great, but it has become bearable.
Theme combo is a classic: Elegant brit obt+gtk, meliae svg icons, gbo_fixed wallpaper from simpledesktops.

Glad you like it. I'll have to dig around for other themes that look good and consistent till I can say that I like it that much. Funny thing is though that lxde has pushed aside a lot of the stuff used in a regular openbox install. Autostart.sh and menu.xml for one aren't there, there are some lxde configs. Also obconf is rendered obsolete since all the options are in lxappearance now. All in all it's turning into a proper DE.

Nice! Did you modify the colors in Audacious' infobar? If you did, how did you do it?

No it did it all by itself. I was just as pleasantly surprized as you. lol It's the latest version of audacious though, not the one that comes with ubuntu.
