I'm ok with it, I hardly ever use the default theme on any os.

Anyone creating such a design should choke in an epilepsy incident. At least it's simple...

Re: Corenominal Announces New Colour Scheme for CrunchBang Linux

But I think he should keep the colors, but replace the white with black, because personally I think bright pretty colors go great with a dark background, and from previous screenshot threads I seen quite a lot of that.

Me too. gtk "icons only" with a dark theme looks pretty nice.

Talk about a 'change of pace' ??

Re: Corenominal Announces New Colour Scheme for CrunchBang Linux

I quite like it, on the screen shot it looks like its going to be garish but page works well, I was never realy convinced by the black on dark grey look of #!

perhaps for #! bert corenominal could go one further and mix up all the colours into a kind of brown pallette ?

Re: Corenominal Announces New Colour Scheme for CrunchBang Linux

As long he keeps those colors on his personal site and away from #!, I won't mind. It would be interesting to see what it would look like with a dark background as suggested by AwesomeFist though.
