It's just Wbar with some great icons from DeviantArt.

Re: September 2010 Screenshot thread

^Why does that wallpaper look great on everyone's desktop but mine?  :-/

@dove
I like the theming. Is that the Airborne OBT?
Oh, and I never actually put out a clean (without the texture) version of that wallpaper. If you want, I can go back to the original and whip out a texture-less one later. You can also give me your preferred palette (in hex or rgb values, please) if you want a different coloured version.

@Sector11
I don't recall ever making a wallpaper like that one you have there. You either got it mixed up with someone else's, or you massaged it so much that it qualifies as your own 'masterpiece' now. :-) ..... I like the palette used for your theme and conky as well.

@anon & pvsage
Yeah, I figured most people would like the buttons, but it just doesn't feel balanced in that particular screenshot (everything else is flat).
I still like how flexible Murrine is as a whole, especially compared to some 'newer, better' ones like equinox, which insists in rounding stuff off in a space-wasting gnome-y fashion most of the time. [Disclaimer: I'm still a noob at GTK, so my opinions should not be taken too seriously]

@aaro
Damn, you sure have a nice dining hall, aaro.... keep boasting about your home and I'll find your address and rob you of all your furniture one day!! :-P

@jpope
Brilliant as always, mate!! Class wallpaper and I like the filter effects you've applied to the icons. :-D
Your rings seem a tad dark on my display, though.

@Pieter
Great depth in that wallpaper.
Would you mind sharing your conky config via pastebin, or linking to the related post if you've shared it before? I promise I won't copy (just want to take a look, that's all)

@Elder
Great looking wall, man. Your own?
What's the font used in your conky clock?

@guantas
It's always nice to customize a theme/desktop around a j3concept image.
Nice job.

@~HP
Great contrast in that screenshot.
Is the GTK the stock Ubuntu Studio one, or something you made yourself?

Edit:
@Mods
Apologies for this long wall of text.
Got a bit too excited looking at all the great screenshots >_<

A very old version of the GTK stock Ubuntu Studio… slightly modded.

Could you please give me a link on where to get it or upload it? And the openbox theme as well. I really really like them, have been looking for something like this for a long time!

Did you not make one called: Grey Textured Wall.png?

If not then you are right, I attributed the work from someone else to you.  But it's an honest mistake.

All I did was add colour to that and then the coffee bean cup.

I normally go with "dark" wallpapers or B&W, my Aug entry is an example but sometimes ...
Thanks fot the kind words, I appreciate them.

Re: September 2010 Screenshot thread

@ Gutterslob - Thanks.  It is my own wallpaper.  I agree, there are so many good screenshots I even missed a couple last month.  I really liked that one with the white flower.  I was actually just looking back through last month and was blown away again by all of your themes.  Really, really nice work.  The font for my clock is:  ${font Trebuchet MS:bold:size=45}.

If anyone wants my wallpaper it is in the Artwork & Screenshots section under the heading "My New Wallpaper".  I made several variations of that one.  You have to scroll down a ways.
