For no particular reason, I've been listening to a lot of Vanessa-Mae lately. (OK, there's a particular reason. )

This Vanessa-Mae, a British violinist?
This article is about the person. For the minor planet named after her, see 10313 Vanessa-Mae.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanessa-Mae
Vanessa-Mae became notable in the United Kingdom in her childhood making regular appearances on television (such as Blue Peter) mostly involving classical music and conservative style. She made her international professional debut at age ten in 1988 at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival in Germany, and the same year made her concerto debut on stage with the Philharmonia Orchestra in London.[citation needed] At age thirteen, she became the youngest soloist to record both the Beethoven and Tchaikovsky violin concertos, according to Guinness World Records.
Impressive, but I'm sure that is not why you be listening to her music
maybe it's a planet-torial thing

^ It has something to do with the style of music she popularized, which might have something to do with the 100th episode of a flash-animated series about colorful equines.

Johann Sebastian Bach 〜 BWV 578: Fugue in G minor
performed by Ton Koopman. The organ is truly the Queen of Instruments! Anybody saying otherwise is wrong
Oh I found a recording on Youtube (bad quality but hey).

Sorry, I'm not a fan of organ music. There are a number of instruments that are much better IMO; e.g. acoustic guitar, piano, violin, cello, flute ...

Actually that is from a Koop playslist I created. But in general, I am listening to Koop. They have that Jazz / Mellow Big Band thing going on. Quite nice to hear today. *Today meaning i'm old an grumpy and feel that a lot of today's music is crap.

@KrunchTime,
Ya gotta wonder had he lived, what he would've achieved. That's the album we were listening to when I posted.
@Inodoro Pereyra,
Here's a nifty moment which was long overdue and will forever have a spot on our DVR.

When I listen to it, I contemplate what my life would have been like if my parents had sent me to a school like this then I realize it wouldn't have been much different once I got kicked out for a complete and utter lack of talent.

@schwim: I've seen that before; I think I commented on how the "main" band (all male) was in one space together, and the female pianist and vocalist are in separate booths. I was thinking this again just now, then noticed the hand percussion was in yet another space, this one with a rough stone wall behind them, so I wonder if it's all about the acoustics in those spaces. Anyway, great video.

Am I the only one that thinks ... maybe in twenty years they might be able to cover Tool... For now though ... that attempt at singing like Maynard - makes my ears bleed.
The bassist is probably the best out of the whole bunch.
Anyway, on topic. Funkadelic - Maggot Brain
