Re: What are you listening to right now ?

One of those oh so bitter/sweet, yet friggin awesome songs.

Ronnie Milsap

Funny commentary: That poor backup singer in the end. Poor woman almost ripped her arm out of the socket trying to pull Mr Milsap off stage. Ouchie ...

Yep, ya guessed it. Viva la gnu/RonnieMilsap ! smile

Re: What are you listening to right now ?

One of those songs almost always have to listen to a couple times back2back.

Bob Dylan.

Vll! + Bob Dylan!, cuz likely if it weren't for folks cut from such cloth, gnu/nix wouldn't exist. smile

Re: What are you listening to right now ?

^That really sucks! There are a lot of deadmau5 stuff on youtube, some are really cool mixes, others plain albums.

I sometimes use Hola ( https://hola.org/ ) to get by Youtube and BBC location blocks.  I was able to view the Dangermaus video with it.

If you enjoy acoustic guitar, I promise you'll be blown away by this piece.  This guy is amazing and a joy to watch.

Re: What are you listening to right now ?

I love it and on a related note, the reason I play the style of guitar I do is because I could never bring myself to grow and sharpen my fingernails.  It just creeps me out.

Re: What are you listening to right now ?

@schwim:  I thought his nails were fake.  They're so white looking they look fake.  I thought maybe he had them glued on.  I've watched the video numerous times within the last 10 hours or so.  The studio version is good as well.

Re: What are you listening to right now ?

^ Good to know. O:)

I wasn't actually watching the video you posted of John Butler - just listening to the music - so I didn't notice the nails.  Very impressive playing though, and definitely worth a listen for anyone who likes Michael Hedges, Erik Mongrain, Ani DiFranco, etc.  I remember reading someplace that DiFranco uses electrical tape to hold on artificial nails...

+1 Michael Hedges; I've never heard of the other two.

Also William Ackerman, John Mills, Billy Joe Walker Jr., ...
