Re: Now this is a complaint thread

Dood, you are hugely over-reacting.

Asking a forum member to open a new thread instead of resurrecting an old, old one is reasonable. But instead you opened this...

The intention was to give credit where credit is due but whatever... neutral

You said this wasn't a complaint. What should we call it then, general bitchiness?

It's up to you whether you want to participate here or not, of course. However, if you do, you'll have to put up with moderation via huge, feces-covered sticks.

Re: Now this is a complaint thread

Why do you have it as a 'Sticky' in the Tips and Tricks section, either it is relevant, it can be updated to make it so or it should be removed..stick that stick up till it makes you aware of it.

Edit: My bad, it's not a Sticky and i am an idiot, but you always knew this when you entertained me, didn't ya?  big_smile

Re: Now this is a complaint thread

It was a sticky that was an oversight. Thanks for bringing it to our attention, damo closed it.

I'll overlook this. Kindly open that Help thread if you still have an issue with screen-blanking.

It might have been a sticky till damo closed it. Anyway, all good now?

Re: Now this is a complaint thread

the real reason for closing the first thread is because that's what a moderator does when someone accidentally revives an outdated thread (aka necrobumping).
i guess it has happened to all at least once, and it's no biggie.
everything else that has been discussed in the 2 follow-up threads is indeed overreacting and has nothing to do with what triggered it in the first place.

yep, i just wanted to get my rant in edgewise before this one gets closed, too...  8)
