[ADMIN NOTE] This thread is now continued on the BunsenLabs Forums.
On behalf of hhh, our live-ISO builder, I am hereby announcing the release of the next batch of live ISOs for our Hydrogen release.
We hopefully addressed all of the issues which users of the alpha2 had, and did a lot of under-the-hood fine tuning, therefore we consider it to be Release Candidate #1 (RC1).
A few remarks from hhh:
* The i586 kernel got dropped for i686-only. It'll be available later on a CD-sized ISO.
* Broadcom b43 wireless devices should now work out-of-the-box, please test!
* The package list is almost finalized.
* Comes with a custom Debian installer!
Direct downloads and torrents are available through our new website:
We consider BL to be quite stable already, and it should run very nicely – as always, should you uncover any bugs or find something worth improving, please report it in this or a separate thread in the Development forum.
Thanks for your patience and support
____________
If you are already running happily with an alpha2-based install, please do not forget to switch to our new repository and upgrade all packages (RC1 users do not need to care). The legacy repository will be taken offline by Friday.

A huge thank you to the forum members for their testing and suggestions, to Ututo for his branding donations, to corenominal and bobobex for their continued support, and to twoion, johnraff, damo, Unia and Sector11 for being the best international team (Germany, Japan, England, the Netherlands, Argentina and the USA!) I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Here's hoping Hydrogen doesn't bomb.
See what I did there?

@hhh
... It won't ... it's caught in the Vortex! O:)
I'd like to add a personal thank you to corenominal and bobobex for starting the greatest little distro Linux has seen, proof is the number of copycats out there over the years. And for allowing us to stay at home while developing a natural progression of what you started.
Hopefully over the years BL will do #! proud, I certainly feel like it's on the right track for that!
To the rest of the Dev Team: KUDOS! You guys rock and have my "Noob Seal of Approval" O:)

For the record, we released two alpha builds, though the first was 32 bit only. 8o

2 new window shortcuts added by default; Alt+F5 for Iconify and Alt+F6 for ToggleMaximize.
The desktop right-click menu is greatly improved.
/etc/apt/sources.list has better default formatting and the Bunsen repo has been updated in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/bunsen.list
Fixed that blurry close button icon that appeared on the panel when you exit.

I found the same problem that existed in the earlier versions, that is, you shouldn't open the conkys together. Posted a screeny yesterday, but appears to be taken off. Should we feedback/report 'bugs' here?
Yes, feel free to report bugs here.
You're post was given it's own thread as it points out some major Conky Coolness! Sector11 should have added a note in this thread about it and I apologize on his behalf. Your conky discussion is continued here, thanks for your feedback...

^ No problem. Everyone is learning. I didn't know that conkys can be moved around. Now, everyone knows that!

Terrific! I have been using alpha2 since July without any issues and will do the package change in the next day or so.
Please know that all the work has been so worth it for those that value a clean and ergonomic desk top design.
Thank you, thank you.
(And the website looks great also.)

After having made alpha1 and alpha2 live ISOs available for testing in early July, on the 22nd of July I predicted September for the next ISO release and boom goes the dynamite.
