I seriously can't say enough about this DarkCold4 GTK+ theme. It's made working on Arch enjoyable.

I thought mentioning it would be enough in this thread. But if you insist...

The first release of our BunsenLabs Live ISO is out in 32bit (64bit in the next few days)...

Linux Mint 17.1

Thinkpad T410 - i5 M520 CPU 8GB RAM, Nvidia GPU, 250GB SSD Booting Windows 8.1 Pro and Linux

The conky in this image I found on the 'net and came here for some help with it. Instead of a little bit of help I got a complete re-write of the code from a few people. So thanks again guys!

OT: Noticed there is an alpha .ISO of BL ready. Once the beta is ready, I'll give it a go. Glad to see it's coming along so quickly.

no it's not, Been putting off setting X up specify for my Video Card, but  I got a screen that I can see, and it show all my windows. smile

as the saying goes. If it works then don't mess with it, but now that you've pointed it out to me and everybody that can read that post, the pressure is on, yikes now the "got a keep up with the joneses" kicks in  wink and now I've found the error lots of people get "number of screens does not match detected devices " I just knew I'd be running into problems if I did this. tongue tongue
Thank you for giving me something else to do with my Box .. tongue

(
I'd take a screenshot and post it so I won't be getting off topic in this section  but ya got a be out of X, have X not running, when running Xorg -configure.
)

EDIT:

here this is in my root login where it shows right video card GPU ATI Radeon 3450 with a whopping 256MB -- my user login is displaying the wrong video card (  that I noticed too) the rendering thing where did you see that to come to that conclusion?

now I got a log into that user account and try that command again. glxinfo

bash-4.2# glxinfo
name of display: :0.0
display: :0 screen: 0

direct rendering: Yes

server glx vendor string: SGI
server glx version string: 1.4
server glx extensions:
    GLX_ARB_create_context, GLX_ARB_create_context_profile,
    GLX_ARB_multisample, GLX_EXT_create_context_es2_profile,
    GLX_EXT_import_context, GLX_EXT_texture_from_pixmap, GLX_EXT_visual_info,
    GLX_EXT_visual_rating, GLX_INTEL_swap_event, GLX_MESA_copy_sub_buffer,
    GLX_OML_swap_method, GLX_SGIS_multisample, GLX_SGIX_fbconfig,
    GLX_SGIX_pbuffer, GLX_SGIX_visual_select_group, GLX_SGI_swap_control

I know this is off topic that is why I am adding it all in here to get it out of the way.

now I got a figure out why I got a different video card "hooked up" in my user account and the right one in root account..
thanks pal wink  tongue  lol

Oh, I'll help if I can. But I'm no expert on live-build myself. Like you, I took the crash course a little while ago, and pretty much learn new things as I need to implement something I haven't done before. But now I'm working with live-build for testing and unstable, and that has thrown me quite a few curveballs. But I'm getting there, my last build was fine.

As for uefi-support, there is a chance that it could be implemented in live-build quite soon, so that there is no need to find an alternative way to do it. This is the reply I got from the live-build project when I asked them about uefi-support:

It's on my todo list. I started implementing it a few months back, and
got a very messy set of working code implemented, but I haven't gotten
around to finishing it yet, I've had a lot of other things to work on.
I don't know if/when I'll finish it; perhaps sometime over the next
several weeks when I should hopefully be finished with the things that
I've been working on in the mean time.

Re: July 2015 Screenshot Thread

After more than a year in openbox , recently I jumped to dwm smile I had little difficult using it really... twice just changed my mind openbox vs dwm. Finally decided for dwm. I thnk i must learn to configure properly this WM. I still do not know how to use.

The first commands i learned Alt+p > browsing applications, i like a lot this style of browsing... Shift+Alt+Enter, terminal (the home salvation console), also Shift+Alt+q /quit dwm. if I will have any questions i'll do to the dwm thread.
