First scrots of my adventure into a BunsenLab!
Before (Openbox + URxvt defaults):
I customized tint2 around the Solarized colours (config post coming later), and plan to make a Solarized conky too.
The Openbox and GTK themes are from hhh. Thanks hhh

Gorgeous shot. Would you mind sharing your conky? There's a couple nifty things I see in it that I'd love to know how to do.

lol xfmw4 in jessie is excellent, and 4.12 looks better (list view for Alt+Tab switcher). You're right, though, I've helped its looks a lot by creating the xfwm theme. That scrot also shows compton instead of xfwm's compositor. I'll argue nore's flexibility comment in another thread. 8o
@damo, great supercool plus one mockup!
@kbmonkey, !

I think I found a colour the for conky that looks good against the bunsen's wallpapers keeping the gentoo-ish theme at the same time.
And I've just found these gnome desklets (Clock and calendar ) and loved them, but I'm probably ditching the clock soon.

One tint2 pager in the top right with 10 workspaces (thinking about making this 9), and my tint2 panel auto-hides at the top. Using the AllGray Icon set with Atolm-gtk3, which has some problems, but the AllGray Gtk is too bright for me. Also the image is a cell phone photo from a hike that went a little too late in Cape Town, South Africa

I got an even darker theme now
NecroEdit: re-updated conky...
I think I can squeeze in some more logos in it.

maximizing screen real estate on my netbook. I made a 6px tint2 and swapped out all the systray info into conky. I'm fond of window decorations, so I'm keeping those. I was inspired by the new Chromebook Pixel 2 for the colors.
一期一会 Let it be good.

I'm curious about this .. looks like you used ${if_match ...} for that "Desktop" line. Would you be willing to show the code in the conky thread?

Not sure what you mean by "Desktop Line". I'd be happy to share, but the conky is just a very minimial tweak of the default conky that ships with #! to add the the time, date, battery and network info. There are no if statments involved.
Do you mean the sorta-circles showing the workspaces? That's all tint2.

OH! I thought that was a part of the conky. DUH!
conky on the brain ... because it is possible.

I believe so! Your link along with my little tweak to @kbmonkey's conky switcher script has me looking for as many creative conky setups as I can get

Oh I didn't see that, I'll have to check it out .. looks easier than the "zenity" script

Well, it is a screenshot thread ... ]:D
