That won't work for a dist-upgrade though. There are other things to do before you go to jessie, to avoid breakage.

Re: How-To: Migrate from #! to vanilla debian

I understood this as a lateral move (same release) unless I missed something.

Re: How-To: Migrate from #! to vanilla debian

Mostly what happens is #! related themes get removed.

So, you will see the default, vanilla debian theming, which may be bit of a shock after the minimal but extremely stylish work we're used to.

It would be great if #! themes could be installed as a .deb on vanilla jessie...

Re: How-To: Migrate from #! to vanilla debian

Not sure if these forums are checked anymore...but i'd be interested in a list of things to get some basic themes/packages (maybe even a puppet script?) to get #!-like look and feel on vanilla jessie....

Re: How-To: Migrate from #! to vanilla debian

I've already posted this on the FR forum, yet -

(excuse my french - I don't have a genuine english GUI available)

In Synaptic, menu Configuration > Dépôts, tab Authentification there still appears

Trusted Software Providers :
EDFD12C1 2011-10-24
Philip Newborough <corenominal@corenominal.org>

Is it important to discard that reference and if so, how to and replace with what ?
