Thanks to those who posted in last month's thread!
As always for February and any other place one uses images...
- To help those of us with slow connections and the CrunchBang server bandwidth. Most image hosting sites will automatically generate thumbnail codes for you.
Of course use whatever service you wish, but please, get a thumbnail and use that or it will be changed by a moderator.
Avoid the large thumbnail www.imgur.com code, use the "medium" link thumbnail. An example of the code:
[url=http://imgur.com/your_image_code][img]http://i.imgur.com/your_image_codem.jpg[/img][/url]
Notice the m in your_image_codem.jpg in the IMG code block
Users have been using www.postimage.org lately which does a nice job and is Multi-lingual as well. Upload your image to the site and grab the Thumbnail for Forums (1) code.
Here is a generic piece of code if you need to create your own thumbnail:
[url=http://link.to.your.fullsized.image][img]http://link.to.your.thumbnail.image[/img][/url]
Please use the Report button to let moderators know of images that are too large. Thank you!

You should have "time"-d the whole process -- Arch guru tongue
Lol! It was about 4 hours, a lot of which was reading the wiki, and of course I had a harder time of it as it was my first time with Arch and I did a pretty unconventional install (squash.fs on my Debian system to a tiny USB drive).
That being said, give me sid any damn day!!!

From an aesthetic point of view, I'd say you should also install infinality-bundle. That will make the outline font in the titlebar look much better (hopefully).

I hadn't even done a basic font configuration there (I mentioned that in the OP). Actually, I've already reformatted the USB, I'll use the disk space more than I'll use an Arch USB. I have Knoppix on a 68MB USB for system rescue.
I'm not through with this wallpaper just yet...

Well it is much prettier than the one exidux just showed us.

Blade runner, i wish they aired that more on television... have not seen that in more than 15 years.
The beuty around that image in my background stems from the idea (and the colors) ;
It is a character bitten by a ghoul, he starves and hungers for human meat but he would have
commited suicide if he could, his body isnt human anymore. The teeth on that leather mask are
fake, and they open with a zipper to hide his hungry mouth. learning to live like he is.

I wasted a good amount of time doing a makeover of my desktop... it turned out pretty nice though... i'm trying out this "flat" thing. Also I just discovered compton's inactive-dimming feature. I enjoy.

@orionthehunter - nice setup; can you post your compton.conf file.
@rooster - pretty country; although it reminds me that my fly rod snapped in two the other day.
Some manual tiling -

I am using xpad for the to-do widget. It's a really nice little application and does its job superbly well.
