fstab setup problem [SOLVED}

I am having a problem setting up an fstab entry. It looks like I did everything properly, but I am still getting errors.

#mount samba share
//192.168.2.13/mainserver /media/mainserver cifs credentials=/home/randy/.smbcredentials,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8,sec=ntlm 0 0
//192.168.2.11/randymac /media/imac cifs credentials=/home/randy/.smbcredentials,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8,sec=ntlm 0 0
#//192.168.2.18/randy /media/dv6 cifs credentials=/home/randy/.smbcredentials,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8,sec=ntlm 0 0
#//192.168.2.18/masterlps /media/masterlps cifs credentials=/home/randy/.smbcredentials,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8,sec=ntlm 0 0
//192.168.2.14/Users /media/nic cifs credentials=/home/randy/.smbpc,uid=1000,gid=1000,iocharset=utf8,sec=ntlm 0 0

My iMac entry works great as well as the nic entry. Where I am having problems is with the mainserver entry. I can access this properly using the Network option in the Thunar sidebar. Works fine. The credentials file is fine as well. Now, when I create the folder called mainserver in the media folder, do I have to be root to do this? If I remember, you have to be root.

Forget it! I was using umount -a instead of mount -a. Too much sun? smile
