Thanks for the kind welcome message.
Don't know exactly where to put this question. Moderator is requested to redirect to best suited topic, please and thank you.
I followed the Big Conky Thread on the Ubuntu forum several years back. From what I can see it moved to the Arch Linux forum, and finally settled in here at #!. That thread and the associated threads are really large and would take quite some time to digest. I was wondering where the very latest major Conky Scripts (Weather, Calendar, etc.) might be located. Is there a short answer, other than read all those old threads? I hope :-)
Thanks for reading,

There are conkys all over the net, a lot of Linux forums have threads dedicated to conkys. mrpeachy mentioned Conky PitStop, in my sig.
damo mentioned wlourf's blog. That's an excellent resource without a doubt. Wlourf has some amazing scripts that boggle the mind. Well mine at least.
But there are a few more I'd like to mention:
mrpeachy's The Peachy Blog. More LUA scripts for conky.
check out the links in mrpeachy's signature as well
Conky-Artists-Group at devientart that has a lot of conkys.
My Little Desktop - londonali1010's conky blog
etc - there are more, I'm sure
You mentioned weather ... some resources:
mrpeachy's v9000 lua script using weather.com.
mrpeachy's WUN lua script using wunderground.com.
A shorter read at Conky PitStop: WUN Weather Main Page. at the bottom of the page there are links to: WUN Weather Templates and Mini HowTo, WUN Weather Icons and WUN Formatting Tricks - the Templates and Mini-HowTo will be of interest.
TeoBigusGeekus - 9 bash weather scripts and one moon phase script
A consolated page at CPS: TeoBigusGeekus Weather
And those are the tip of the iceberg.
So, "Is there a short answer?" The short answer to that, no. But at least it's a start.
Check the forum for your distro, or at least a distro that uses the same DE or WM you use, it makes a difference on how things display.

BunsenLabs Forums now Open for Registration
I'd like to mark my question Solved or Answered, but I'm thinking about marking it "Turned to Gold" :-)
What a wealth of fantastic informative replies I have received to my question. Can't thank you enough, this is super.
Mrpeachy, damo, and Sector11, thank you for your kindness in supplying me with this information. And thanks to anyone else who may eventually add to this thread. I'm off to start catching up, should be fun.
Great Day to everyone!
