Re: October 2013 Screenshot Thread

Not too long ago I decided to put #! on my macbook pro because I was getting bored with Mac. After a ton of tweaking:

Clean
Dirty

Openbox Theme:
- FlatStudioGrey

Top Panel:
- tint2
- I added in the launchers section
- The top left debian icon launches the menu, also my menu uses the automatically generated debian menu
Application title bar is one that comes with crunchbang, it's just the 'Simple' one.

My current desktop, clean and fresh with an autumnal note.     Crunchbang Waldorf  with the Gotham conky theme added(modified with Droid Sans Fallback font,  removing the shadows)   wallpaper is from the Samsung galaxy s4 phone.

Re: October 2013 Screenshot Thread

Alexandrito wrote:

Sure thing mate.

Wallpaper

Weather script created by me and maintained here.
I'm using the 1a, C version script.

The setup includes 7 conkyrc's:
.conkyrc1
.conkyrc2
.conkyrc3
.conkyrc4
.conkyrc5
.conkyrc6
.conkyrc7

The colours are a bit different cause these pastebin links come from last month's setup, but you can easily change them to your liking.

The Conky fetchmail script:

#!/bin/bash
fetchmail  -k --uidl|sed -e 's/for/\n/g' -e 's/fetchmail: //'|head -n 1| fold -w40 > /home/teo/conky_fetchmail/mail
sed -i 's/message.*/mess/g' /home/teo/conky_fetchmail/mail
message=$(sed -n 1p /home/teo/conky_fetchmail/mail)
if [[ $message != "No mail " && ! $message =~ Query.* ]]; then
	aplay /home/teo/conky_fetchmail/demaki_email.wav
fi

The script that starts conky is (conky_start):

#!/bin/bash
sleep 2
conky -c ~/.conkyrc1 &
conky -c ~/.conkyrc2 &
conky -c ~/.conkyrc3 &
conky -c ~/.conkyrc4 &
conky -c ~/.conkyrc5 &
conky -c ~/.conkyrc6 &
conky -c ~/.conkyrc7 &

Finally, I've added to my autostart file (openbox user) the line:

bash ~/conky_start &

Unless I am mistaken, he's wobbling a compiz window on purpose.

(the info in the screenshot says the WM is compiz)

Re: October 2013 Screenshot Thread

@porkpiehat:  I did notice the Gnome/Compiz bit, as well as CentOS.  Odd how a screencap of a wobbly window looks so much like a screencap of a tearing window.
