copied it to firmware folder /lib/firmware.

Hi ! I am newbie in linux and I can't use my wireless card. Someone have any sugestions? I have an odd netbook with 3dsp wireless card and it works with windows 7 (I have the drivers so I could use something like Ndiswrapper). Thanks in advance!

could you please give me a hand? My laptop's wifi function won't work. The light next to fct key is 'red' which means wifi's turned off.

A little bit of an offtopic here, but, wouldn't this thread be better locked? My opinion would be that people with problems should create their own topic, as this one would get really messy and also it's harder to search for information when you need it.
