any downsides with removing pulseaudio stuff? What exactly do i need to remove?
Read over this thread while I downloaded the old computers non PAE 32 bit image. I think its time to update my work laptop to waldorf/wheezy... Breakages seem to have pretty much settled down. Making backups... DDing iso to usb... Stay tuned for the second half of this post!
And we're back. Updated successfully. Trying out this crazy iceweasel thing for a change. I don't like the default compton drop shadow... so I softened it a bit.
I was kind of shocked when I realized I had installed statler in only one partition... I corrected that error in judgement and split this install into a / and /home scheme.
I dislike geany, so I uninstalled it and installed gedit, which works fine again now that the gnome crap has settled down.
As mentioned once already there is a typo in the openbox menu, it still has GNOME MPlayer listed under multimedia instead of VLC, though the menu item does correctly point to VLC.
Good work as always.

U heer dat, Philip? We wants our steppers bak!
...er, I mean, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, would you mind including versions of the Waldorf themes with steppers in the repos?
I have been using Waldorf for a few days now, and I have changed NOTHING except to change the default browser, and USUALLY I use one of my own photos for my desktop, but alas, I am in love even with the default ones, I like the one with the spiral best, and I love the login, methinks that is slim. Anyway, installation went perfect and smooth, and so far, absolutely NO issues to report except perfection I use an Acer Veritron VZ 290G with intel Atom inside.
