^ I really didn't want to... but... we told you so. You should have gone for an Android phone. The OS on that phone and it's software is nowhere near the capabilities of Android. Android is linux based. Much more powerful and able. If you have the chance, return it and exchange it. You'll regret it otherwise. Good luck!

Thanks but no I wont. I like it and will learn to live with it.
EDIT: I did go for an android phone, it was broken. I cannot afford a new android phone.

^Yes, but you went for an used one, no wonder. The suggestions I made before were for new models and within your budget. Anyway, I hope you make the best of it.

for me I didn't bother about android because I only want to use it to:
make and receive calls
check emails but only on rare occasions I am not at home but travelling
occasionaly check a web page for something - again only need this when travelling.

101? Bit of an understatement

Well, I do get what you mean. I own a Windows Phone (Nokia Lumia 800) and whilst the Market there is way smaller than on Android/iOS I do have enough. I only need Whatsapp, Facebook and the like.
Thing is, Android/iOS have thousands of apps - but most of them are junk.

Hi dani21, welcome to the forums!
If you have a request, it is always nice to write it in a polite way.
When writing a question, a single question mark is enough.
If it is not a question, do not use a question mark. For example: "Tell me which smart mobile is best nodays" is not a question. "Could you please tell me...?" is a question asked politely.
If you have the time, why not introduce yourself in the dedicated thread and also read the forum rules? There should be a section about necro-posting, please read it!
I love #! more than my own kids. I told them and they sympathized.

Thanks, kiiroitori -- this thread has run its course and we're shutting this one down.
dani21 -- if you want to know more about phones, please start a new thread.
