In all seriousness, I am not surprised by these things anymore.

If you've ever shopped at one of those "home improvement warehouses", I'm the guy who keeps the shelves stocked while the department associates are "busy" flapping their gums.
I wouldn't exactly call it a living...
All we got here is Wickes and B & Q - nuffin' like the huge warehouses you guys have.
I often used to wish I had a physical rather than "sit down all day" job. Too late now of course.

Yup, we just got XP, on some new machines. Not sure what the reasoning was, I don't think that our cataloging modules (Voyager and OCLC Connexion) have any problems on Windows 7. I always look forward to going home to my #!.
Edit: Our main server is also running Mac OS X ... which is also its name on the network.

Sounds cool maybe and it has its good points, but not all that amazing.
I used to work as a pizza chef back in the day. It's a peculiar profession with a lot of cool things, but can be extremely stressful at times.
I currently work as a consultant for EU projects. Good money, but boring as hell. I used to work as a journalist, interpreter (as in translator), and had a bunch of menial jobs since I was like 14. I'll probably jump ship to teaching English, and if that doesn't work out, I'll most likely open my own pizza place/Italian restaurant.

I got to ask this one..
I see pizza chefs spinning and tossing pizzas.
Question: Should they and/or Do they Shave their arms?
...Seems silly but I have observed a rather clean arm look on many..

Is that you with the leather gloves on at a bob wired fence fixing it so that the cattle cannot get out?

I've never heard of regulations, but I have no hair on my arms as it is. Besides, spinning pizzas is just something you do when you wanna impress the customers, or girls, or both.
