Hier ist dein Problem mein Freund. Das Script funktioniert nur mit Englisch.
The script only works with english mate. Try changing the page address from german to english

and try again.
Also, tell Frau Merkel to send us more money
Will say it to Doris Leuthard . . .
Anyway, ok. Will have a look at it, thanks a lot for the pointer!

[Edit] Including the changes Sector 11 proposes and changing alignment to top_left all is fine so far[/EDIT]. Remains how to make the 2 conky one.
Asking for an output in French or Italian would be too much, i presume (?). At least for someone with so limited conky capabilities like me . . .
Cheers and thanks a lot for all your help!

. . . Here is your #! conky and your weather conky running togeather
http://s20.postimg.org/u841v55ah/2013_08_08_16_02_36_1920x1080_Sector11.jpg....
How would be merged the 2 conkyrc files?
Screen solution: 1280 x 800
[edit]How could i lighten up - a little bit - the output? I tried to change the grey output by changing the hex color value, but apparently to no extent. And when i tried to find the "default_color" value, i did not find either 656667 nor cbcbcb. Where are this values coming from??[/edit]

Answering to myself: It's the html color scheme that has to be used! The question that i'm unable to find a solution to is how to merge the 2 conkyrc files into one.
Thanks a lot in advance!

French or Italian would be too much, i presume (?).

I understand that pretty well. It's already a lot what you did!
Just my other question: How can i merge the 2 conky instances? Calling the second one from inside the first (using the commandline command)?
Thanks in advance.

You don't have to merge them, just call them separately during startup.

Like Teo said ... one scriot to start them all:
at the end of my ~/.config/openbox/autostart file:
## Start Conky after a slight delay
#(sleep 3s && conky -c ~/.conkyrc) &
## Start conkys
(sleep 2s && /media/5/Conky/OBMenuS/S11_Current.sh) &
exit
that file is HUGE because I start 9 conkys on 2 desktops ... I had as many as 27 on 4 desktops .. so let me point you to a simple one at Conky PitStop: ssc.sh (Start/Stop Conky)
or for you:
~/.config/openbox/autostart file: (might be ~/.config/openbox/autostart.sh)
## Start Conky after a slight delay
#(sleep 3s && conky -c ~/.conkyrc) &
## Start conkys
(sleep 2s && /path_to/the_script_file/ssc.sh) &
exit
ssc.sh
#!/bin/sh
# click to start, click to stop
if pidof conky | grep [0-9] > /dev/null
then
exec killall conky
else
sleep 5 # this MIGHT need adjustment
conky &
conky -c ~/.conkyrc_1a_int &
exit
fi
There is a LOT of info there to squeeze into a height of only 800 pixels, but is you make the fonts smaller it can be done - but will it be readable? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ....
I do so love a challenge .... I shall return.!
OK ... €€€ to Teo - I'll take some chocolate and a really nice fondue

Thanks a lot to you both! I put 2 rows, instead of one, into my fluxbox startup file
If i was you i'd prefer raclette over fondue but it's up to you . . .

Yes, that can be done as well.
Is that cheese? Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I like it all ready! Yes, I'll go for that.
I use a script that way I never have to touch the 'autostart' file ... I have more conkys commented out than I have running.

Now, i'm somewhat satisfied with the look of my desktop:
(it's poor, i know, but essentially, it does what i like to have it done)

I'm sorry - no such thing as poor conky! If it does what you want - it's perfect and if you are satisfied even better!
BTW: CrunchBang & Teo's script in a 1208 x 800 screen (the black area):
I made some changes ... I think if "wlan" is running Saturday may drop off the bottom - so deleting the empty lined under Weather and "Intervals of cloud and sun" may be necessary.
Using different colours for "day names" "Hi and low temperatures" will help in the reading of it.
The conky file:
# killall conky && conky -c /media/5/conky/farinet.cb.conky &
# conky configuration
#
# The list of variables has been removed from this file in favour
# of keeping the documentation more maintainable.
# Check http://conky.sf.net for an up-to-date-list.

I think i'll be better to keep the weather on the left and the system infos on the right side of the desktop. But, thanks for the idea anyway. May i still ask a question? May be that's something obvious for englishwise more knowledged people:
In the weather infos for Monday i read
A t
And for Saturday:
Cooler with a t
What does a t mean?
And then there is a small generic question i did not find any reasonable answer to going through all the conky related wikis. In Teo's script there is said:
# Minimum size of text area
minimum_size 280 500
maximum_width 230
Now, i presume in the first statement (minimum_size 280 500) the first figure means width, the second height, always in pixels. Does it make sense to combine that with the second statement? How could be the maximum_width smaller than the minimum?

Cooler with a t
What does a t mean?
I'm guessing "A t" probably would mean A thunderstorm ... late morning/in the afternoon or some such thing and "Cooler with a t" would be something similar. ... Cooler with a thunderstorm in the ......
I didn't think you'd use the "one conky" - it pretty small and cramped ... but it satisfied my:
I do so love a challenge .... I shall return!
just to see if I could do it.
Your double conky looks nice as it is.
Teo is the scrip genius here .. I just manipulate them. He's a busy man, he'll be here when he can
If anyone know why they got clipped he will know.

It should be t-storms or t- something.
Congratulations farinet, you've just discovered a bug in the 1a script.
Wait for it...

ANNOUNCEMENT
farinet discovered a bug in the 1a script that causes everything after a dash (-) in the weather messages to disappear. Script corrected and rebundled. Thanks for the sharp eye mate.

:8 :8 (The script is in the bundle which is indicated in the 1st post of this thread, i presume?)
I do not want to bother, but... am i allowed to insist on my other question about maximum_width and minimum_size?

Yep.

It must be a brainfart on my part - just play with the values and use what works for you; don't pay too much attention to my feeble conkyrcs. This is Sector11's area of expertise...
PS: Thanks again for your sharp eye mein Freund.

Thanks to you, eh. Your work is fantastic - and conky, at least in a setup like mine (fluxbox, no real DE environment, and as minimalistic taskbar as possible, it saves a lot: networkmanaging based on ceni, way better imho than others, more gui-oriented ones, now has a desktop appearance, as well as wired etc. And i can get rid of the ugly taskbar based weather addons in iceweasel. Great!
)
I applied the new script: works perfectly!! Thanks again!

You're welcome mate! Kind words like yours keep me still maintaining the scripts on a Saturday night, when I should be out drinking beer instead of tackling with sed

Teamwork, Teo, Teamwork
Scripts give me brain farts
maximum_width will always override the minimum_size (width) and yes they are in pixels.
At times neither maximum_width or minimum_size is required, but:
- - if you use ${voffset}'s in your conky the minimum_size with a width AND HEIGHT values is a good thing to have ... keeping in mind that it's a "minimum". Because voffsets move (up or down) where text is displayed without changing the size of the window it's a handy option ... SEE: Goto/offset/voffset and Spacing in Conky
- - if you use a ${goto xxx} and there is no command the will extend beyond that combination that will set the conkys width
- - if you use ie: ${cpubar cpu0 0,500} that will draw a line i pixel high and 500 wide:
#minimum_size 210 510 ### w|h
#maximum_width 210 ### w
I usually use them both with max and min widths equal ... back to normal:
minimum_size 210 510 ### w|h
maximum_width 210 ### w
