Has anyone ever seen the 'guest count' drop to under 100?
I suspect our 'benevolent dictator' starts to count from 100.

It is very impressive indeed, sometimes there are more than 20 registered users and over 150 guests. That is much! There are forums for bigger distros than #! who never are close to matching those figures. Congratulations goes to our much loved benevolent leader and supreme #!dictator + the community here that are really something special.
Time to move on!#

I think I was browsing the forums for help for several months, something like 6 months before I joined. I'm surprised there are that many guests though.

I'd wager most are web crawlers tbh. Can a mod check the ip's?

^ i tried, but can't find an option for that.

They're crawlers. Maybe 20-50 people.

+1 Frothy and P12 imo too. Though not inconceivable that such a kickbutt gnu/nix distro and equally kickbutt web forum could be widely popular.
Some common cbiz abbreviations. This will save me time and yet @ same time tell folks what the babble is supposed to mean.

I'm pretty glad we're low key, and we all just get along.

The fact that you started concerning is concerning...
Hello, I go by Plio most internet places now, if you are seeing this it means that you are seeing one of my elusive "older internet accounts" (ooh, how exciting) Yeah...

I've been using openbox with arch for months now, and whenever I Google an issue I'm having (be it openbox, conky, etc. related or not) one of the first five hits is the crunchbanglinux.org forums.
Edit: P.S. I browse mad Linux/Unix forums on the schools computers using IE, I wonder what that does to statistics? I can see it now "6% of Windows users are on the fence, 1.2% of them are named mynis."

No, that'd just make me a headless hipster. Less suave than a headless horseman, but far more annoying.

That is true but I guess it has also to do with Google's personilization of your searches. Once you disable this, it won't appear that much. Of course, all the nerds are at #! Forums and the best threads you will still find here when you search in Google.

So, one would draw the conclusion, based on this thread of topic - no one really knows??? how many peeps are actually hanging out around here. Pure genius - what a chance that some users are cloaked with invisibility and don't even appear with any status whatsoever? This could be bigger than cheese already.
