Re: What is the price of Gasoline where you last filled up?

I don't remember the last time I bought gas. The Helix has about 1/2 tank, and the Saturn has about 1/4. That should last another couple of months easily.

kd50b: Even if oil is produced locally, it will be sold for as much as possible. If someone has a barrel of oil and they can sell it in Tulsa for $50, but in LA for 100$, it will get sold in LA, unless someone in Tulsa is willing to pay the price of $100 minus the transportation costs. It's a global market, so it's not even just a matter of regional or national prices. I don't know if the Keystone pipleline would go through OK or not, if it does, it will help raise the prices in the midwest as the locally-produced oil can be more cheaply transported to places where it can be sold for higher prices.

Awwww.
I wouldn't say life sucks. Just some aspects of it. There are upsides too, like #!. :-)

Edit: I have noticed gas is a bit cheaper when I cross the line into your state to visit family, probably a difference in taxes.
