I cringed at $3.49 and was happy with $3.19......
Tuesday I put in $18.50 at a Shell for $4.09 before work. On the way home it was $4.19 and now is $4.29. (meaning I saved .52 cents by going before work as I pumped 5.2 US gal)
I opted for Costco at $3.97 while there, although I prefer Shell or Chevron/Texaco.
You?

I can't believe it's so much more over there. I'm in vegas and it's been about $3.50 for a month or two. About 2 months ago it was approximately $3.30.
EDIT: It always goes up tax time though, this is expected every year.

EUR 1,75 per liter in Holland; equals about US$ 9,10 per gallon...

£1.43 a litre (diesel), I think it's £1.40 for petrol, at my local.
Someone else will have to do the conversion!

£1.37 here, so £5.18 or $8.16 for a gallon (if I'm right in thinking it's liquid US gallon that's used, so 3.785 liters per gallon).

$3.99US/gal for 93 octane...though I only had to buy about 3/4gal to top off the 5L tank on my moto-bike conversion. And I absolutely have to add a stabilizer to prevent phase separation (10% ethanol blend), so it's actually a little more than that.

I think its about 140-150 yen per liter here in Japan right now, though I live in a kind of isolated place so its probably more expensive here.

$3.79 USD per gallon for 89 octane yesterday morning at Chevron station. That Fuji Sagres 2.0 looks better and better every day.

Phase separation? Next you will be telling us you had to reverse the polarity or use the Heisenberg compensator...
Heisenberg compensator?? OMG! He takes his cat?? for rides with him. Now I just gotta get Django those little goggles I dream about him wearing!
EDIT -- That was Schrödinger's cat and Heisenberg's Uncertainty -- I'm certain of that, now. Damned early morning jokes always fall flat.
I'm going to do it anyway.

@dubois: Cool name ya gave your cat! After the guitarist, obviously?
@VastOne: This phase separation thing actually happens. It's because the ethanol is slightly more dense than the hydrocarbons, and is only slightly nonpolar; ethanol blends have the alcohol in a homogenized suspension, not in solution. I haven't looked into the organic chemistry of this, but I think the fuel stabilizers solubilize the alcohol in the gas in much the same way bile solubilizes lipids.

Funny how in Tulsa, Ok where I live, we make our own gas from our own oil. Never have imported a drop.
Gas was 5cents a gallon in 1970. When it went to 7 cents, my dad had a fit.
Just 2 months ago gas was 2.92 a gallon. Now it's like 3.50.

@VastOne: By the way, I *do* have a turboencabulator on my bike...and a flux capacitor!
