[Solved] urxvt copy/paste

Hey guys is there any way I can change the urxvt copy/paste functions from ^Insert = Copy,  SHFT + Insert = Paste to ^C = Copy ^V = Paste? I have just gotten used to that and I have to look for those keys on my keyboard lol.

EDIT: I gather you guys know that by this ^ I mean CTRL

Re: [Solved] urxvt copy/paste

CTRL+C gives sigint, so you'd want to try to set up shift+ctrl+c, and shift+ctrl+v to match. It's something I haven't tried very much yet (I ended up using xautomation to make shift+ins ACTUALLY paste, since it wasn't working before).

It should be possible, though.

Re: [Solved] urxvt copy/paste

I can't even get to my #! at the moment to test things, doing a CHKDSK on the windows drive so I move partitions around and give #! more space. big_smile I really should've partitioned it before putting all sorts of things on it. One day, I'll actually remember to separate my OS and my data.

Re: [Solved] urxvt copy/paste

Okay, used that clipboard perl script, copy worked great (A-c) but pasting into URxvt isn't working. I'll have to keep at it, I guess. It's weird because doing the command with either of them installed (xclip or xsel) will print the clipboard, it just refuses to put it in there for me. D: GRAH

Re: [Solved] urxvt copy/paste

Don't you guys have a mouse? You select the text, and paste it with the middle click? I've never used the keyboard shortcuts to copy paste in urxvt, unless we're talking about the editor commands.

Re: [Solved] urxvt copy/paste

I'm using a netbook, it's got a trackpad. I don't want to paste from primary buffer, I want to paste from clipboard.

shift+ins will paste the primary, but I want the clipboard.

Re: [Solved] urxvt copy/paste

I have a keysonic keyboard its basically a wireless laptop keyboard so I have no centre click.

EDIT: Ok I have discovered that I can select text and tap the touchpad with 3 fingers and it pastes =]

This was mainly for copying scripts etc. into nano
